Platinum Studios is Thinking KISS for Christmas

Posted by: rodtrent   in Comic Books

Legendary comic book scripter Chuck Dixon and Platinum Studios Comics have teamed up to create the ultimate addition to your holiday library: KISSMAS! The original graphic novel is a comedic departure from the KISS 4K: Legends Never Die series, brought to life by the talents of artist Tone Rodriguez (Incursion), colorists Jason Embury (Hero By Night) and Nei Ruffino (Grimm’s Fairytales), and letterist Shawn DePasquale (KADE).

This KISSMAS season, the Four who are One must use their powers (both supernatural and musical) to replace the Aurora Borealis so Santa Claus can guide his sleigh. If Demon, Starchild, Chikara, and Celestial fail, an evil spirit could rule the earth forever. “KISSMAS is just pure fun,” says scripter Chuck Dixon. “It’s an irreverent holiday romp that comic book fans will truly appreciate.”

As an added bonus to the KISSMAS graphic novel release, Platinum Studios Comics is sponsoring the 12 Days of KISSMAS contest. The winner will receive a copy of the Guinness World Record certified “Largest Comic Book Ever Published”: KISS 4K Issue #1 – Destroyer Edition signed by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The winner will also receive eleven other prizes to round out their Merry KISSMAS. Everyone who enters will receive a free digital download of the KISS 4K #1 with KISSMAS Preview and 25% off of their next purchase at the Platinum Studios Online Store.

KISSMAS will be available in comic stores and on DrunkDuck.com December 19th.
